Elegant abstract figural study by American artist, Irving Marantz (1912-1972). Three Figures in Repose, c.1950s. Bronze cast on onyx stone base. Cast measurement: length: 7 inches; height: 5.25 inches; depth: 4 inches. Base measures 5 x 8 x 1.25 inches. Excellent condition with neither damage nor conservation. Signed in the cast on back. The piece dates from a time when Marantz was very active and a notable figure in Provincetown, MA.
